Step back in time and relax at this French Farm House, circa 1740, on the edge of the small of village of Chesterbrook. Stroll through the five acres of landscaped grounds on the fringe of Valley Forge National Historic Park surround this circa 1740 farmhouse, offering a pastoral setting for indoor and/or outdoor events.

DuPortail (Du-Por-tie') House at Chesterbrook is listed on the National Historic Register and can accommodate small or large parties (to 200) people depending on usage and time of year. The first floor of the stone house, country gazebo and grounds are available for all your catered occasions. The outdoor patio is tented most of the year.  

Other amenities include a full kitchen, air conditioning, free parking and a private upstairs sitting room for the bridal party. DuPortail House is handicapped accessible and less than one mile to the nearest overnight accommodations.  

You will delight in the homes French style ambiance and your hosts’ gracious Chester County hospitality. The Duportail House has all the warmth of its heritage: wide-planked floors, ship's captain's staircase, eccentric ceiling angles, curving hallways and an inviting front porch.
